Free Knitting Pattern Super Bulky Heart Sweater | Grateful Heart Cardigan
Knit an easy chunky heart sweater with this free pattern and step by step video tutorial. The Grateful Heart Short-Sleeve Cardigan is a top-down, drop-shoulder open cardigan sweater. You cast on STS for the back, work to the armhole depth, then pick up and knit stitches for the left and right fronts. The fronts are joined to the back and then the body is knit back and forth in one piece and finished with ribbing. Body length can be easily altered since it’s knit from the top down. Collar and sleeve ribbing stitches are picked up and knit. The cardigan is finished with a heart worked in duplicate stitch in a contrasting color.
